Emmanuel Atamba
Programme Director Food System Transformation, Ad Interim (TMG Research)
Atamba works on advancing inclusive and sustainable food systems transformation centred on the human right to adequate food, individual agency, and community empowerment. As the current lead of TMG Research’s Food Systems Transformation programme, his focus areas include working with informality for food systems transformation, school meals, governance of food systems transformation, and agroecology. With previous experience in promoting the right to adequate food and advancing agroecology policies, Atamba brings expertise in the implementation of various programs and initiatives in East Africa in both business and non-profit settings. Atamba has an academic background in agriculture, with a major in Agricultural Economics and Development Studies.
