Marian Darlington

Lawyer and women’s rights activist

Marian Darlington is a lawyer and women’s rights activist. She was called to the Ghanaian bar where she attained her degree in 2013. She is a Harvard trained practitioner in BIO-ETHICS which critically analyses legal, medical and social issues that arise in egg and sperm donation and assisted reproductive technology and she has a Masters in International Criminal Law. She has practiced in the field of gender equality and empowerment for over 10 years. She has worked with many international organisations like the UN WOMEN and FIDA to champion the causes of women all over the world. As part of her work, Marian advocates on social issues that affect women directly and indirectly. Her work focuses on reproductive health and rights, access to justice, discrimination by reason of gender and access to health, food and security.
