Gearing up for the event "Transforming food systems from the bottom up: Social innovations for soil restoration", scheduled to take place this Friday 15 July, we have published a white paper and an info brief outlining results from our accompanying research. Interested in listening to frontline innovators and global experts, register here.
White paper: “Transforming food systems from the bottom up”
This paper informs on how locally developed social innovations can strengthen enabling environments for soil restoration. It draws on experiences of TMG’s collaborative work with partners in Benin, Burkina Faso and Kenya.
Info Brief: Securing land access for smallholders
This info brief informs about how a community-led process strengthened leasing rights for smallholder farmers in Kakamega county. The process has been spearheaded by grassroots organization Shibuye Community Health Workers in the context of TMG-led accompanying research to GIZ Global Soil Programme.
