Gobeshona is a knowledge-sharing platform initiated in January 2014 which brings together the national and international Climate research community to encourage sharing and making climate change research in Bangladesh more effective. The 2nd Gobeshona Global Conference on Research into Action will be held from 27th March to 1st April 2022. It will be held online with many national, international participants and high-level guests aiming to host different geographical sessions from across the globe.

Focusing on the theme "Locally - Led Adaptation & Resilience for COP27", the conference will aim to:

• bring together a distinguished and multidisciplinary group of scholars, policymakers, and practitioners from around the world

• share knowledge, research, and practical experiences on climate change issues (especially Locally Led Adaptation Action) across different geographical regions

• highlight ‘actionable research’ that can inform effective policies and climate actions
