Angha works as a Research Associate for the Climate-SDGs Integration Project on Ecosystem-based Adaptation in India.
Before joining TMG Research, she worked for two years as Project Manager at the Foundation for Ecological Security (FES) and has gained field level experience in analysing natural resource management practices in the context of community-based climate change adaptation in dryland regions of India. Throughout these projects, her focus has been on implementing and analysing large-scale household and habitation surveys and training communities in conducting biomass and soil assessments.
She holds a M.Sc degree in Climate Change and Sustainability Studies with a focus on assessing impacts of climate variability in agriculture from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, India. Previously she has gained both rural and urban fieldwork experience in assessing climate vulnerability.
Her interests revolve around climate-resilient development, natural resource management, sustainable land and energy use and ecology.
